Yeah, but the story had a touch of oh, I dunno, Medieval or Iron Age quality to it and back then, would make it a little believable. People didn't live long back then and if you are female and you bleed, you are marriage worthy and must start bearing children. You're chattel and no one gives a shit if you're sexually abused.
I tend to nit pick the horses and the tack used on them. I see lots of modern bits, bridles and Australian saddles being used and pieces of fancy cloth thrown over them to hide the fact.
Knights on light horses too. That made me laugh.
