"movie theater wouldn't let him carry..."
See, there comes a point in time where *law abiding Americans* have to realize abiding by the law isn't always in their best interest when it comes to safety. I would have carried in the fucking theater myself despite *no guns*. If I had shot the bastard, then what, they would have me kicked out of the theater or charged with breaking some tedious law that just fell apart into a joke before them?
Fuck their prohibitions, it is often gun free zones where the danger is the greatest. I've carried in places like restaurants that said "no guns", but I didn't give a fuck, and not giving a fuck has likely saved my ass when I came out the door a couple hours later to find people looking to break into my truck. I've worked in places where no guns were allowed, wah wah wah, but fuck if I am not walking home at 2AM alone without my gun. Sorry, all it takes is once, and I don't give a shit if you fire me (don't get caught). If its more risky to carry than not, well, make the call.
People are starting to wake up I figure, concerning the fact that often the law isn't in the citizens best interest, but the gov'ts and/or monied interests. You can either live totally by the law (and get fucked over in the end) and obey like sheep for the purposes of others, or start weighing the risks with a more realistic judgment. If you still think you should cling tightly to the laws set by a gov't or state or corporate apparatus that doesn't give a shit about you, then well, good luck.
And if anyone was really carrying, ain't no chance really of killing the guy. Armor, smoke/tear gas, and tons of fucking people running around getting shot to shit while you're trying to at least plant a bit of lead on him somewhere without shooting some fucktard sitting in the second row.
