When we arrived on honeymoon at my father-in-laws cottage, we were reminded when we went down to the farm to fetch milk straight from the coolers to flick the switch to paddle the milk first.
The farm had Guernsey cows so the cooler held virtually half cream and the liquid we wanted was at the bottom. It's the creamiest milk from any breed.
My brother-in-law followed us 6 weeks later on his honeymoon and they forgot the message. The farmer was cross because the indentation from the ladle was still in the cream after they helped themselves!
Loved going to the cottage.. so sad when it was sold
