Thats very true gunnen, although we are very evolved as a species and developed socially accepted "practices" we forget there is alot of biological and instinctual things that our body was programmed for and we have to have the self control to not give in.
Those instinctual things also evolve to our society, I remember watching on discovery how you can get a guys picture get two groups of females and his level of attraction will be higher to the females that see his face next to the higher income.
Some other stuff was that they found that people that go through big trauma's together say like a natural disaster or plane crash will find each other more attractive.
Another weird one was they found men's testosterone levels drop about a year before marriage or after their child is born, and they believe that leads to that level of no longer having a need for instinctual competition for females between guys and basically settling down and having a monogamous relationship.
I think our media that's so sexually driven in certain aspects and people that seem to lead very stressed out lives aswell has messed that up though and leads to people cheating and what not in my opinion.
