This is for apple pie, I made mine with several different fruits I also add a fifth of dark spiced rum and some black berry brandy. below is the original receipt, just be sure and let it work for at least two weeks, if you have a crock that's the best container for it, but a glass 5 gallon water bottle will work, don't put it in plastic it sometimes heats up a little.

I learned how to make this when I was doing the Mountian man rendezvous every fall, talk about a great time, each camp had their own personal receipt of pie (some falls there were more than 100 camps) , I seldom made it back to my tent.



Mountian Man apple pie.




1 gallon apple juice

1 gallon apple cider

8 cinnamon sticks

2 cups brown sugar

1 fifth of everclear

1 fifth of vodka
