Cats have no business outdoors unless its in a controled environment or a farm cat. When I took my sons took their hunter safety course one of the questions was if you are out hunting and come across a cat, what do you do. Ofcourse all the kids said "nothing" then the instructer said correct BUT if you are in the field hunting and happen across a cat and you don't believe it to be the farmers, shoot it. All they do is kill baby birds, squirrels, rabbits, and so forth. They don't even eat them, just kill them. I loved my cat. She would go outside and was more afraid of the out doors than just about anything. One day the wife wasn't paying attention and she went over the fence. Haven't seen her since. Pity. I know shes living somewhere. She was a good cat.
If I had known grandkids were this much fun, I would have had them first.
