Those two layers with the cars driving in them would be like death chambers without some good exhaust fans, and could you imagine the traffic jam when the survivors came back to the surface and everyone merged back together?
All I get out of this is that they had dope smoking eggheads back in 1925 too.
Things were much simpler in 1925, someone would smoke a few bowls and draw a picture of a city of the future, now they cook up a global warming scheme, or tell me how the sun works, or that they have a telescope that can see into the past. Why can't they just get baked and eat some chips like everyone else does?
