I was told today the new Cannondale's are not made in the USA. You have a rare bike according to them. I KNEW that was a bunch of bullshit about the welds! I didn't pay attention for 21 years when I was married for nothing. Unless I go and take the bike apart and smooth out those welds myself and repaint the bike, I'm going to have to live with it.
They don't make the Rincon in XS which I need. So we settled for the Revel (why they pronounce it reveal is beyond me but I refuse to sound like an ignoramus) in black and red.
I test rode the Rincon in a size S but although it was a little too big, OMG the balance on that thing was astounding! I that bike! Too big and all. I didn't test ride the Revel because it was 2 sizes too big. I know it will be fine in the right size. I the shifters too! And I gotta tell you those disc breaks are sweet. That bike stops instantly and without drag.
Next week we should be able to put a deposit on the both of them, get them ordered and layaway until the Christmas bonus Matt gets to pay for the balance.
I just "liked" Giant Bikes on FB and put a discussion on how to age their bikes. Let's see what they say. The guys in the shop had no idea and get this... they had no idea Cannondale and Trek marked their bikes either. In fact, they had no idea how to tell the age of a bike and didnt' think anyone marked their bike models. See? Now to me, things like that should be the norm and I think that not marking them is abnormal and it surprises me that they wouldn't be.

I have no idea what you're talking about so here's a bunny with a pancake on it's head
