I fell a sleep in it
You know that feeling when it starts to get cold but you still don't want to move? Then the toes golike prunes and you still don't want to get out 'cos they are going to feel sore. So you drain some water......and top up with more hot.
No1 son called just as I was searching for his father's motorbike keys- he sold the bike but forgot to give Brian the keys! I like Sam's parents idea, they moved to Exeter leaving both their sons in the house here. I was surprised how tidy the place was when I got there after lunch today. Six lads all bunking down somewhere in the house, they had brunch and the kettle was on for teas and coffee. Dan had just arrived and another Dan was leaving as I called. They all were polite lads (never met any of them before) and came out to see us off mainly to cheer Philip's perfect hillstart from the driveway of the house. The house is built into the hillside
Philip said he had the sofa that folded out into a double divan and Dan had the recliner. They were advised not to sleep on the floor because of the cats. At 6am a cat came into the room wailed at them for food. Dan threw a shoe at it so it wandered off, not offended in any way. Came back 10 minutes later with another cat and wailed again. So both boys threw shoes at them. Both cats sat and looked at the shoes and their owners. Then they could hear the cats go in the other room (where the other 2 boys were sleeping) wailing at them then a boy scream out.
Sam appeared and fed the cats.
If you sleep on the floor the cats knead you with talons out!
Sounds as if he had a really good weekend with actually drinking anything more that one cider and has made some new friends.
