The law specifies that profiling cannot be used as a basis for asking for documentation! One must be suspect of something that gives officers probable cause (like running a stop sign, speeding, illegal trespass etc) to be asked to present ID.
Now come on, you mean to tell me that these total buffoons think a cop ANYWHERE shouldn't be allowed to ask someone for ID for a traffic violation? Yeah right!!!!!!!!!!
Any cop will sure as shit ask you who you are and then ask you to provide ID if you are doing anything which may raise their suspicions that you may be up to something not legal. Give me a break!
