Special offer 2 bottles of 2 litres for £3.00 at Tesco. It's that the milk that 'lasts longer'.
£1.00 for 2 litres in Lidl, which doesn't keep so well, so I freeze it.

WTF is milk that lasts longer?

I saw $2.88 on the Indian's store marquee. With my luck it's goat milk. Barf

I am a milk snob, so I go the one of the dairy outlets for mine, and consequently pay more. I think it's around $3.00 a gallon. I'll check because I will be buying some tonight.

I believe milk is about 2.49 dollars here. But there are plenty of farms that sell it for 1.50 a gal and they have eggs. I buy the eggs but do not do the milk because it is heavy, although its good in my coffee.

About R9 for a liter. That's like...$3.70 a gallon. But we pay the same for "fresh" and "ultra pasturised". I'm guessing that's what somebody was referring to as milk that lasts longer. You can leave it in the sun for a week and nothing will live in it.

I do.Blush

Yeah, that ultra pasteurized stuff is supposed to last longer, that is what they do with those little coffee creamer cups and they last quite awhile in the cupboard.

I'm still paying $1.49 a gallon for milk and $3.96 for gas.Banghead

OK milk check time.

Sent Matt to get a half gallon last night and entering receipts in the checkbook says we paid $2.79 for half a gallon!
