Freeing this piece of shit out of compassion to go home FREE to a HERO's WELCOME by Mohmar Khadaffi is just WRONG on so many levels.
Who gives a rats ass that he's going to die!? It was intended he were to die in prison anyway, that's the whole purpose of a life sentence.
This piece of shit only served a few years as it is.

NO ONE involved in the bombing had much compassion when they blew these people out of the sky and on top of a village!
We didn't even get the courtesy of an official notice of release to the White House from Scotland.
I just don't see how or why we continue to cow-tow to the Europeans and care what they think of us when they clearly don't think much about how we feel about them.

The families are outraged. They're calling into the news all day today expressing their disgust.
What really is sad is that this guy served 8 years out of his life sentence - do the math - that makes it so he only did 11 1/2 days time for each victim.
But hey, don't worry nor have compassion for the American lives lost, or even your own in Lockerbee..... terrorists deserve more compassion right?
It's jail. It's supposed to be unpleasant. You are supposed to die there should you be so stupid enough as to commit a crime that lands you a LIFE sentence.
How about doing the opposite? Let the family members come live in his cell until he dies so he can die in the company of loved ones?

Guys compassion is a great thing.... However I too am pretty shocked at this. Life should mean that. I am not so compassionate. I wish I could be but Lockerbie is well within my memory. I am not too happy...This is Scottish law ...different from English.

Well the point here Bog is that there is a trend across Europe to be "compassionate" which is affecting reasonable judgment. The Scotts just happen to be the latest to show the results of this thinking with the release of this piece of excrement.
I'm sure that Britain has some similar thinking and surely some loophole that would allow for the same sort of thing.
