So if I said I was gonna build a pair of wings out of twigs and bird feathers and fly to the moon everyone would be all excited? The Problem is we haven't developed technology able to survive being accelerated to 20% of light speed, nor built the laser array necessary to propel it. Keep in mind atm a cheap launch rate is about $5,000 a pound, it can easily hit 10k. Hopefully Space X will reach it's goal on sub 1k prices to make this more feasible. |
