Star Trek - Fan Made, Crowdfunded, and More - ralgith - 03-04-2016

So, there's a lot of Star Trek goodness out there, for those interested. Much of it's cheesy, but then, so was most of it, especially TOS.

Some notables that I've enjoyed, despite flaws:
Star Trek: Horizon - A feature length amateur film set in the pre-federation days on board a Warp-5 starship of the same class as NX-01 Enterprise (The TV series "Enterprise" ship)

Star Trek: Of Gods and Men - Featuring members of the TOS cast, and some from the TOS based movies, directed by Tim Russ (Tuvok)

Star Trek Renegades Channel - Channel that hosts the above movie and the series Star Trek Renegades (Series also stars characters from TOS as well as Tuvok)

Channel for Star Trek Continues - A continuation of TOS, taking place between the last episode of TOS and the first Star Trek movie.

Star Trek: New Voyages - Another "continuation" of TOS

Hidden Frontier Channel - Another channel of amateur Star Trek TV. It has at least 3 different series (Hidden Frontier, Iliad, and Odyssey).

And another one...

Starship Exeter Channel - A series following NCC-1706, Exeter, and set during Kirk's time.

The Starship Farragut Channel - Yet another Starship set in Kirk's time

I found this audio drama while searching for Star Trek Podcasts. The acting is a little sketchy and some of the plots are a bit cheesy, but I enjoyed it. I was able to binge listen because of how much driving I do for work.

Out of all the links I've posted I've only watched the movie (Horizon) and the first 3 episodes of Star Trek Continues. Cheesy, and some of the acting is kinda meh, but I'm enjoying them none the less.
