I want to make a couple of these soon. Need to make my own tshirt yarn first but you can also use macrame cord or laundry line rope too.

You will need to stuff these very tight with the polyester fiberfill and I would suggest you get some shredded foam - the big chunk kind, and mix it all in one big box and then stuff. I have been doing that for dog beds and it really helps in keeping the shape and making very few sunken spots you can't fluff out.

I would love to try and dye my own yarn for this, maybe get some cotton cord you can dye and make it in multi-colored and really festive and bright Smile

This first one is made of t-shirt yarn and I'm going to include links to the pattern because she has some video links on her page to show you how to make your own t-shirt yarn and how to close the hole. I would just use the magic circle.

Anyway, when I make my first batch of t-shirt yarn, I will measure how many yards you get out of it all and give you the formula too. She doesn't say how many yards you need to use for the pouf. Nono

She did give dimensions.

Also the link to the way to make t-shirt yarn has been killed in the pattern so here it is:

Cute! Let me know how you like working with t-shirt yarn. It looks like alot of work to make it yourself. I'd like to make a throw rug for my bathroom with that type of yarn.

Yeah, the tshirt yarn looks like something you can just toss in the wash too, which I like because it won't get all "pill-y" like some yarn.
