Are you being watched? - Twitchin Kitten - 08-01-2013

This is all over the news today. I cringe when I hear people say, "It's OK let them look. I'm not doing anything wrong."

Idiots.

Lets test it out:

I'm going to kill Al Sharpton.

Fuck I hate when people say that. Most folks will submit to such things though, then get told it is for their own safety and so accept it and even love it.

As I have said before, then if that is their opinion, I want to put a camera in their bathroom so I can watch them shower, shit, take a piss. I mean, if they are doing nothing wrong, why worry, right?

RE: Are you being watched? - Twitchin Kitten - 08-02-2013

Exactly. My mom says that shit all the time and I invite her to actually sit down and read the damn Constitution. Fucking oblivious.

Let's all take a moment out of our days and thank George Orwell for unwittingly giving them a template to go on instead of the warning he intended 1984 to be.

I know right?

I read that book when I was 14 and then as required reading in my sophomore year in high school and then again two more times since just for grins and giggles. David Bowie dedicated a whole album to it and Hillary Clinton had Obama remove a scathing political ad comparing her to Big Brother (Or was that the other way around where Obama had an ad from Hillary removed?) - either way it was the pot calling the kettle black.

Animal Farm was a stab at the capitalists, 1984 was a stab at the socialists, did George ever write a book about how shit ought to be run?

RE: Are you being watched? - Twitchin Kitten - 08-02-2013

I'm not sure. I took Animal Farm a little differently. I saw it as a climb to dictatorship, but then I read that one when I was 12 - 7th grade required reading. I should read it again. Maybe I'll have a different perspective on it now that I'm older.
