The reason why he lived to such a ripe old age is because he lived in Korea. I spent a year enjoying their hospitality, and I can tell you that if you can live there, and build up an immunity to all the little critters infesting everything, you can live a long life. Your body has built up so much natural resistance to disease that it would take an act of congress to do you in.
Oh, and that is why Kimchi is the national dish. It is loaded with so much cabbage and garlic, that even Dracula would not even dare set foot in that G-d forsaken place.
