Or maybe the dogs get sick of his poop slinging crap and being bigger and more bitey they make him wear a little tuxedo and be their monkey butler.

Spot as usual is an idiot. That's not a parquet floor. It's a plain ol' el cheapo wood floor from Home Depot. Looks like that pre-fab crap.
