Anyone see J Edgar?
It's about the life and career of J. Edgar Hoover.
I don't know much about the man, never had much of an interest to do my "homework" on the guy, but the movie made him out to be some kind of a nut case to a very large degree.

Hollywood has been after him for decades, simply for the fact that he was so demonstrably anti-Marxist. His book, Masters of Deceit, was required reading at the military high school I was forced to attend as a teenager.
He was eccentric though, and going through the fiction that if you live with someone of the same sex, you are a homosexual. I know that is bunk because my friend Michael and I share the same house, and he pays his share of expenses. Just two divorced old farts, who work in the same business and can get along pretty well with each other.
Back in the 60s-70s, it was nothing to see two men, or two women, living together and not associate it with them having sex together. Now it is so convoluted that one is automatically labeled as queer. I had to go around the neighborhood and let everyone know that I am not a homosexual, just so there wouldn't be any tongues wagging over a bunch of bullshit. My only bed partner is CharlieK(see avatar), and you know what? I don't really give a Shit what someone may think of me.
In fact, if anything I am asexual, because I take Prozac for my depression and it has crashed my libido. My guess is that Hoover was also asexual, even though has been accused of cross-dressing.
But Hoover was vigorously anti-Collectivist, and the Left has gone out of its way to make him look like a loony. I quit trying to understand him about three decades ago, because of the trove of disinformation floating around.

Prozac does not make you asexual, that's something you are from birth, just like homosexuality. Two famous asexuals are Bella Abzug and Ed Koch. Loss of libido is a medical condition.

Alright, from a medical perspective I am really not clinically asexual. I still love to see good looking women, but I would have to work hard(pardon the pun) to get that way. So I don't bother trying anymore.
I'm so used to basically be living alone that I would have a very hard time living with another woman. Michael and I talk a bit, but mostly we come and go, leading different lives. He lives upstairs, I live downstairs, and work in the basement shop. But he is a 'Lark' and I am an 'Owl', so we don't get in each other's way in the shop. He watches a lot of television, and I stick to the monitor screen and keyboard. If I want to watch a movie, I do it there.
Is that better Dear?

I'd be a little concerned if a man I didn't know knocked on my door, introduced himself and then told me he wasn't gay. But then I don't answer my door for anyone unless I'm expecting the UPS guy, so it might not bother me after all.

I don't go around trying 'so hard' or anything like that. In my neighborhood, I just wanted to dispel any chance someone may not be properly informed. And as for today, I almost never talk about it to anyone. But when I do, I tend to explain thoroughly.
And if you folks don't like it, you can both stick it up your ass, for all I care. I won't mention it again, so Fuck Off with the petty shit!! And find something else to be nitpick about, ok?
