The silence is deafening - LKTraz - 03-20-2012 I just got back from downtown to go get gas and smokes. $3.92/gal for fucking regular! Where the hell is all the damned noise we heard about the expensive gas nearing 4 bucks a gallon during the Bush administration? Where's the cries of "Obama and his oil buddies!"? Where is the bitching about the government letting this happen? Where are the whining shits complaining that we need to regulate prices? Where's the news media making a HUGE stink about the rising prices and that the "poor people" can't afford this? Well.......the last folks mentioned are why you don't hear anything now but you did during the last administration. Who says the "mainstream media" isn't HEAVILY biased toward the left? 3 refineries shut down during the last 6 weeks in Pennsylvania and another is on the auction block. The lefties shout "We need to get off of foreign oil dependency!" but toss up roadblocks to us going after our own reserves. Oh yeah......nix a fucking pipeline that would not only give us oil from Canada instead of the middle east but also create 15 to 20 thousand jobs here in the US. FUCKING COMMIE GREEN TREE HUGGING CRONIE CAPITALIST BASTARDS!!!!!!!!! And the enamored and complicit media cover their tracks. FUCK YOU.....FUCK YOU.....FUCK YOU you sorry excuse for a president! We need to fire this guy. I think a demented baboon could do a better job. At least it would cause far less harm than this sanctimonious prick! RE: The silence is deafening - Twitchin Kitten - 03-20-2012 Yeah, it seems the left enjoys that rod rammed straight up their ass. RE: The silence is deafening - LH - 03-26-2012 The way I look at it is, the people that are bitching need to get out and vote. I tell everyone at my work to go get registered or stop bitching. The only way to get this clown out is to vote him out and that means getting everyone that works or has a clue to get going. When the libs are running buses of people to the voting booth and the conservatives cannot even get a minivan going who is too blame? RE: The silence is deafening - Twitchin Kitten - 03-26-2012 You're exactly right. I was talking to a friend today and he said he wasn't going to vote because his "man" is probably not even going to get the nod or anything close. I was almost going down that path too - Santorum scares me. If he gets the nod, it wont' be good. I can live with Romney as prez, but Santorum is a nut case IMO. Anyway, I was seriously considering staying absent this round but I can't. I decided to vote ANYONE but Obama - good or bad. This president has to go. If it were anyone else in office right now, I'd pass. This is too important to let him stay though. If he does, we're sunk, seriously sunk. RE: The silence is deafening - John L - 03-28-2012 Oh G-d, I came back here because I wanted to get away from politics. Please don't get me started on this. Once I start, I can't stop, and it just keeps me eternally pissed off....................at both parties. I despise them both, as Joan and a few others here can attest. I'd just love to gleefully take all the leadership of both parties, take them out to sea, weigh them down with cinder blocks, and tell them they have to swim back to shore. One of the parties is totally clueless, and the other is totally gutless. I gotta get away from this thread before I start going postal. |
