I don't know what is more sad.......the fact that he committed suicide due to this or the gross ignorance of people with regard to certain specific dog breeds.

Why didn't he move? So many places he could live where his dog is accepted. He also had a legal right to keep the dog where he lived if he only pursued it. It doesn't matter what the condo rules changed to or what the neighbors had to say about it.

That dog looks like Goliath Sad

Given that he committed suicide, I think we can discern that he wasn't the brightest character out there, and that he likely didn't think too hard about it all.

umm... wtf. If I were him, I would had moved out no matter how much I liked it there. A dog is my best friend, family and confidante all rolled up into one. So if I had a dog that I loved dearly, I would NEVER put her/him down ever unless he was sick and or suffering greatly. no matter how much some other people pressured me to do so just because they had some stupid idea in their head about my dog's breed.

who knows, maybe I could had found a place that was ten times better than my old place. Just a shame that he wasn't thinking rationally about it. =\

What bothers me is the vet who did it. I don't know of any vets who put animals down who are healthy and loved.

I'd be more likely to "euthanize" the condo board than have one of my beloved pets killed.

When you take an animal, you kind of make a commitment to take care of it. I don't think euthanasia is part of that bargain.

I put down a kittie because I wasn't going to let him suffer. It was his time. Other people can take their ideas about what I should do and shove em.
