This seemed like the best place for this.
I paid $2.82 a gallon last night. I have seen $2.81, but it was a blizzard, so the extra drive was not worth a lousy penny off!

regular here goes for $3.33 - $3.49. Diesel is $3.89.

They have been on a steady slide for a while. Even when oil went up, they kept going down. I have been told that for some reason Colorado has a bizarre gas economy, EVERYBODY takes a loss on the gas. They make their money on you coming in and buying drinks and candy.
I miss being able to ride, not just for the fun, but it's cheaper. Even though I get 25-26mpg out of my truck. I get an easy 45 out of the bike.
I'll look at diesel. I never think about it, cuz I don't buy it.

Yeah, I miss riding too. I'm just not comfortable here anymore and the helmet causes me too much pain in my neck. I sold my bike a few years ago and I miss it very much. Since then it's gotten uncomfortably congested here to ride safely anymore. I see too many bikers getting killed around here now.
We used to be able to boast really low prices because we are full of oil refineries but I think we're still paying way too much.

3.78 litres to 1 US gallon = $7.78 ish?
That is why I drive Babe and the Camper only gets used when Diesel is cheaper (in the summer for some reason)

I just paid $3.59 for 87 octane regular yesterday.

The cost of it in the UK is riddled with taxes. If you deduct them the relative cost is on a par with US pricing.

universal healthcare is the biggest hit in the UK for the price of petrol.
