Couple lost in apple orchard calls 911 <--clicky for hilarious video

STOW (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A local couple had to call 911 after getting lost in an apple orchard on Wednesday night.

Mark Rosenthal and his wife were picking apples at the Honey Pot Hill Orchard when they tried to make their way back to the car.

"She (my wife) goes 'Follow me, I know where I'm going,' and I said, 'Oh, really?' and she brought me down this dirt road."

Instead of getting back to the car, that dirt road took them further into the woods so they decided to call 911 for help.

Andrew Martin works at the orchard and says that the staff is usually there to help out, but it was later in the day and they had gone home.

After the Rosenthals called 911, police tracked Mark's phone by GPS.

Aside from suffering some embarrassment, they were fine.

Sound familiar? A similar incident happened two weeks ago when a couple got lost in a corn maze .

I have never gotten lost in any woods from here to Wyoming, on foot or on horseback. How the hell can you be so oblivious to your surroundings? And up in the Boston area, how deep do the woods really go? NOT! Been there for competition and on a 100 mile ride, we looped around the same road 4 times.

Perfect examples of kids that died at birth and their parents failed to bury them in the back yard.

Just think what would happen if they decided to walk around in New Mexico?

There ain't shit for miles and miles out here.

hahahahahahahahaha.......OMFG........hahahahahahahahah.

I just did a little research and found this orchard on Google Earth. NO fruit trees are located more than 4/10 of a mile from the main building. The "road" they were probably on that "led them deeper into the woods" is just over 3/10 from the building and the "woods" are just a patch about 400 feet deep! Fuckers didn't even walk a football field's length into the trees till they panicked!

The other roads leading into trees are even shorter and about the same distance from the building!

Beside that, I wonder why the dumbasses didn't use the GPS app that comes standard on most phones these days?

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha! And she's a TEACHER? Oh man are the students in her class in trouble!!!!!!!

So,,, I was raised in the Hills of Maryland by hillbilly parents.

You couldn't find your still without going on walkabout through the woods.

Mushroom hunting was a vocation and getting lost was a good sign you wouldn't live past your 5th birthday.

These two individuals CLEARLY need to get lost and stay that way for the safety of society and the education of our children.
