Ilkey Moor- bar-tat! - Rhubarb - 08-29-2011

Ok- So tomorrow if all goes according to plan we leave for here

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&cp=6&gs_id=u&xhr=t&q=north+yorkshire&gs_sm=&gs_upl=&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&biw=1013&bih=624&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wl

First we head to the other side of the Penines (the ridge of not quite mountains on the back bone of England) to Hampton Loade to visit family and friends.
Then we head for the A170 towards the 'wonderful seaside resort' of Scarborough that started the term all that time ago before the first World War. I just Googled the campsite and as the map confirms, we run out of road and it is 'Werewolves' and 'Swirling Fog' epic country.

I'll be back no doubt as a Zombie, see you all on the 2nd weekend of September.

Sounds like fun! We're stuck pumping out the basement. I'm online now scouring Sears for a pump that will pump off a flat surface with only about a half inch of water. No such animal I'm afraid.

Put a pool pump into a wet dry vacuum and pump it into the washer out the exhaust port on the wet/dry you can get it all that way. I had to do it when mine flooded last spring.

I dont' understand how to do that. We pull it out with the wet/dry vac and dump it into the washer and then spin it out of the tub.

I was thinking if there is some kind of way to vacuum up with the wet vac and have it exit directly out the thing it would save my washer.
