Trying to do a bit more to the garden, almost hopeless, get started then it rains again. The pigs are beginning to think it is Navy Day
Dad's birthday tomorrow- No idea what to get him, so we went food shopping and bought his dinner.
Steak* and new potatoes, raspberries with clotted cream, Dorset Blue Viney cheese and crackers and a mini bottle of Blossom Hill. (Got mum a peppered chicken breast so she will not starve.)

A much nicer day, only one rain storm which was ok by me.
Had to put Barclay and Abarth back to bed, although they had a tent to hidin. Barclay has another chest infection and Abarth was cuddled up to him, so he must have known he wasn't well.
Attacked the hedge and .......got a bit carried away. No1 son and Rich turned up and I since I was half way up a tree they decided I might need some help. So I pointed and no1 son used the saw and Rich hid the evidence.
I am not losing any more light in the garden to Sycamores.

Today is gardening day. I need to transplant a mess of plants to the front of the property to let them grow into a hedge row of sorts. Been meaning to do it for a week now but it's either been too hot or I've had company preventing me. I just want to get it done and not be gallivanting all over NJ anymore. Sadly that won't be the case. Tomorrow and Friday are more bullshit days of driving around. I just want to stay home and relax in my own yard.

So I'm out front for an hour digging out friggin' rocks that I paid someone to do. I had to quit half way through and I called Matt and told him to call that asshole and have him get back here and get this done the way I asked him to do in the first place.
I can't turn dirt to plant, I got roots and rocks and about 4" of cleared area, not 16" like I asked for.
Pisses me off when you pay someone and you get a half assed job. Next time I'll just hire a Mexican from one of those day labor stands. I know I'll get good work out of him. You go do a friend a favor and that's what you get. ooh I'm pissed!

That is worse than the Army at least they get to go home at weekends and August to see their mums and grans (if they save the travel pass)
