Hairdresser - Rhubarb - 01-29-2011

The Pharmacy I work in is next door to a hairdressers and barbers. I've known Claire the owner for like ever and Sara one of her stylist used to do my hair at another salon before she moved.

They are a brilliant bunch, look after you more than just your hair. Friends
So today, after letting my hair grow really long all winter, feeling the blues have really got to me I went to see Sara.

'I'm fedup' She said she had noticed.
Claire walks over with a coffee for me and herself.
'Whats the matter Choock'
'I'm fedup'
'Well your hubby was telling me about how redheads are his favourite........'
'I'm not colouring my hair Claire but this style is horrible under my motorbike helmet.'

So Sara gets the books out, Izzy washes my hair, Claire gets more coffee and biscuits and sits and chats.
'Do what you want' Says me Wink
Claire heads off to the barbers out of the way, promising not to peek until Sara is done.

All done Mark come to collect me, pulls up outside and looks through the window, goes to drive away again!

So at the moment it is OTT, but at least when I take my crashhelmet off this summer it will look good.
The colour? Swoon

So? No pictures? You can't do this! Tantrum

I had my hair long when I rode. I just threw it in a pony tail and kept a cowboy hat just in case.

I can't imagine any hairstyle that's immune to helmet hair unless you got a buzzcut.

Get photo's when I've recovered.

Last year my hair just survived so long it wasn't a long trip (more than an hour). Either that I used a bikers roll, which was the best thing I've won at a pub raffle, kept my face covered on the ride, then just pull it over my head when I took my helmet off.

This is a bit more severe than last year.

Keep a small sprayer full of water in your saddle bags. A quick spritz and a tousle and you should be good to go with short hair.

It doesn't look so red in the photo's and my jumper looks almost blue but is in fact grey. I think Mark is still in shock, he kept following me around with different cameras (and he is a lousy photographer!)
