Dirty Toronto Cheaters - BallseyMalone - 09-17-2009

So I watched the Boston Bruins play against the Toronto Maple Leafs last night, and tonight I watch the Philadelphia Flyers play against said Leafs.......Every fight that breaks out it seems, the non Leaf player seems some get his helmet torn off.....but for some reason the Maple Leaf player seems to keep his helmet on!

What new devious helmet snap did the Leafs design that allows them to pummel another players face while he can only punch a helmet?

I know it's only pre season hockey, but if this is indicative of regular season play to come, I personally think we might have a problem.

Problem Schmoblem Mr. Gribble.

Toronto uses a super snap fastening system on their helmets. This ensures them that their antagonistic goading of fights leaves them with the prettier face and knuckles and in return they give the illusion they are great fighters because the other team comes away all bloody in the fist and face. Remember, this is an illusion.

I saw this too. I was wondering the same thing and frankly, the Flyers stunk up the ice quite nicely except for Cote and Carcillo trying to make a little hay. Boucher stinks. why they took him is beyond me. And why did they not take him out of the net until the last few minutes? They played the same shit hockey they've been playing since the lockout. Toronto kept them in their own zone the whole game. They never take a shot at the net until they lose the shot or angle, they don't cover the net, cant' catch a pass..... shall I go on?

I want the job of coaching this team. Oh, and I want Gary Bettman out of the NHL.
