link for the turkey loaf - Pickles - 04-04-2010 http://www.jennieo.com/products/PanRoasts/LeanComboTurkeyPanRoast.aspx I get these once in a while for Mom and me and now Dean. You find them in the freezer section. It comes in a foil pan and all you have to do is stick in the oven for about 3 hrs. It gives direction on how to make gravy with the drippings. You can get either just the white meat form or dark and white meat mix which I prefer and for us it will last 2 meals or so. RE: link for the turkey loaf - Twitchin Kitten - 04-04-2010 Oh we definitely don't have these here! That would be nice to make for Matt to take as sandwiches for lunch during the week. RE: link for the turkey loaf - lady cop - 04-04-2010 when my kids were little, i would buy them for an easy but good dinner...i didn't know they are still around. RE: link for the turkey loaf - Twitchin Kitten - 04-04-2010 Banquet sucks. It's rare I buy frozen foods and those giant family packs of swill are not bought. It seems the worst frozen food products are located in a case at the end of the produce aisle instead of in with the rest of the frozen foods in the middle of the store. I definitely do NOT shop at PathMark. The place is filthy. RE: link for the turkey loaf - Flamethrower - 04-04-2010 Well those are the two grocery stores that came to my mind when I thought about where you live. There are other brands besides banquet that make it as well. I think Stouffers, Swanson and On-Core also make turkey loaf. (On-core is crap though too). Ever shop at Genuardi's? There's one in Barnegat. I went to the one in Egg Harbor Twp while on vacation a couple years ago and they seem to be a decent chain. RE: link for the turkey loaf - kbear - 04-04-2010 I make them when I want turkey and don't want to cook a big turkey! Add some potatos, or rice and some vegatables and you are good to go for dinner. Don't forget a big glass of milk!! |
