We got around 12 or so inches where I live. It is Minnesota so I again I'll say-Where does the shock come in that there is snow in Minnesota??? Another news story about the dumbasses who didn't know there was a snow emergency. With 12-20 inches? Really?

Back to the good old take load to Boyertown...re-load then on to Elizabeth then call to see if anything is coming back.

I'd rather have snow than the flood in my basement. Went to bed all nice and dry, thinking, "Well, we skirted that one this storm!" and overnight the floodgates opened. But it only added to my regular morning routine.
I call my mornings The Stinky Morning Wake Up. Why? Because before I get anything done, that cat box gets a once over. Before bed, upon wakening and anytime necessary in between. But the morning usually brings barf after the box and if I'm lucky, a mouse or two during the summer months. Well, today they decided to hit me with a full gallon of water on the floor too. Little bastards tipped the bowl again. Flood upstairs, flood downstairs. Fun morning.
Going to hit Drs. Foster & Smith now for a weighted no-tip dish and a new collar for Daisy. I figure I'll buy the dish with the collar since PetSmart didn't have a collar in her size.

They keep me busy, that's for sure.
Sofie is a bread freak. Matt left out the bread this morning and she carefully gnawed off the corner of the bag and helped herself to three corners of the slices showing through.

I wish I can just turn my brain off at night. I've been up, tossing and turning and thinking. Thinking, thinking, thinking about all kinds of ideas for things we can't afford to do to the house. Then I start thinking of all the things and places I want to go. Then I start thinking of things I want to do for something else, then the basement, then back to the house. It's like rainman in there and I just wish I can turn it off.
I get these nights where I can't sleep due to pain and that's when that 'thinking' cycle kicks in.

It's awful when that happens, isn't it? Drives me nuts. I try to think of something else and that turns into a major think-fest too. It snowballs into a ton of things.
I should start playing video games again. At least that way, I would dream of the solution to anyplace I get 'stuck' in a game, and I got some sleep.
At least when I think of construction projects I sketch them out or put the plans on paper with a list. For future dreams of course.
Today I am tackling the dungeon. I figure since the site is having connectivity issues, I'll get started on digging out the antiques and oiling them up and stuff to bring up here. I got all kinds of plastic shelves to snap together and I'll straighten out while I'm at it. Looks like the site is good now but I'm in the 'groove' down there. I came up for a break and some fresh air. I'm going to put a pile in the middle to trash and maybe stick a curb alert on Craigslist. There's a lot of crap down there.
