For once I'm glad to be running to NJ and back. My co-worker Ray has to go to just a bit north of Erie today on a run that I like to get and often do on a Friday. I'm just glad that I ran to Fredonia, NY on Tuesday and not today!
Guess I'll be on the phone with Ray quite a bit today.

Well......on Friday Ray lucked out and got in and out of the customer in 40 minutes. Once he passed Harbor Creek the roads degraded RAPIDLY with each mile. He was damned glad to head away from Lake Erie!
I have the same shit different day today....Boyertown - NJ etc etc etc.
29 degrees outside with a pretty fair breeze blowing. BRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

The low around here is 4. Brrrrrr-haven't bought the second tree yet and haven't done a lick of shopping.....Tuesday is the plan for all of it. I would like to know where my Christmas spirit has gone.

It's gone to hell with mine. I've not done anything yet except 500 cookies yesterday. I got a couple hundred + more to go when the pistachios come in.
We won't be shopping until after Matt's bonus comes in - like we do every year! We're awful. I just hope my mom's gift comes in time. I may have to order that overnight. We have so few to shop for and everyone else gets baked goods.
Christmas has become a chore ever since my granny died. I miss her terribly.

Cookies are awesome gifts I think. I was just thinking last night that I need to make some. Do you have recipes that are easy yet yummy? I can whip some up with the kids.

Butter cookies. Just go with all sorts because you can decorate them any way you want. Same for sugar cookies. Everything else I make are very fancy and expensive. I had a heart attack when I saw the INFLATED prices in the market this year. The guy in the Turkish market by me is going to give me a deal on the nuts I ordered though. Silly guy showed me his price!
I'm dreading all the shipping I have to do with these and I'm hoping they get to England and Mexico in time!
This year I did all no bake cookies and I'll send recipes along with them for everyone. You can try them at home with the kids if you like them.

I generally hand out "Poisoned Peaches" to my friends that drink. I usually make them with white rum but this year I'm trying peach schnapps.
