Ditto. As kids, the fans didn't have those nice close wire cages that kept little fingers attached to the hand they belonged to..... no we all have our digits. We threw marbles in the fan though, small army men, jacks, a rubber ball from the jacks set and my brother tried to stop the fan once with a wire hanger. Nearly tore his arm off. He got a beating for that.
