Wow, that's a nice chair except for the busted brace.
Don't you have any antique shops out there you can bring some of this stuff to? You'd get better money there and they can restore it too.

Yeah I know. I put it there because it's more local listings. I can't give it away for any less than that. The set is brand new. Was used literally 3 months and I found I couldn't sleep on a regular mattress with my back. The mattress was in plastic even when in use. I paid way more and I just can't go lower.
I may try Ebay or some other outlet if it don't bite here.

Bah, friggin antique people are worse than used car salesmen. If I'm gonna get fucked I'll do it on my own or just give it away. If this chick smiles nice at me and has an interest in the chair I'll load that in her car too.
Or.......carry it back up to the attic and throw it out the 3rd floor window. There is something theraputic about that. Those computer monitors were actually fun to drop.

I have an "electric chair" in the basement. It's one of those real old hard oak teacher's chairs from the "olden days". I wish I had room for it up here. I may when we redo the room. I love that thing and believe it or not, it's actually comfortable. I picked it up for $5 at a junk place here and refinished it dark.

Done and done, Sarah was a little cutie, I almost had to bait her into bartering with me to get the price down. I took $20, I could not convince her that she needed that chair though.
It makes up for that $10 scanner I got. That was a deal and a half there.
So far out the twists attic $20 for the sewing chest, $40 for 700 pounds of porn, and I've increased my carbon footprint by sending just a shitpile of stuff to the landfill, more to come.
Twitch, do you want me to start a thread? I'm thinking a tutorial on how to sell shit on CL.
See, here's my thoughts, take that matress out of the plastic, a few come stains, cat puke, and some piss, I bet that thing will sell like hotcakes.
I didn't even blow the dead flies out of that sewing chest.

I'll bag up some cat puke and dog fur to upgrade some stuff and be on my way to get selling.
I should do one of those TV shows, like the guys that go around and help people unclutter their houses, we could just splatter some cat urine on the stuff and sell it on CL.

When we did the hot tub, the guy was telling me how he needed it for his bad back. I made him sign a release stating he was responsible for any injury he may incur getting the hot tub. Dude brought a 25 yr old truck, a couple of hillbillys with few teeth and like a 60 yr old decrepit guy with his ass crack hanging out. It ended up my husband moved it 90% of the way because he was afraid they were going to kill themselves.
That was one move I refused to help him with. Let the guys kill themselves, I had a release waiver.

I've only sold a few things on CL, the strangest one I met was Norman Bates and the fuck books, but lucky for me I delivered them.
Any time I bought anything I went to them.

I gave a few things away on Freecycle and they came here. I made sure Matt was here and Goliath and Daisy were on leashes next to me while Matt did the dealing. You never know what creeps are out there.
