Whoa!!! Some steel wool and maybe some emery cloth is all you need in that case, and possibly some vodka and maybe a cigar. RE: Working on some rusty blades. - Vizth Hal - 10-23-2014 I wont lie i used a sandpaper drum on my dremel to get the rust out of one of the pits. please don't hate me? I think i may just leave be pits be they're growing on my but I want all the discoloration gone as much as possible. Stick to sanding your blade.
RE: Working on some rusty blades. - Vizth Hal - 10-25-2014 have most of the rust off of the sword will post a pic when i get back from hair cut. RE: Working on some rusty blades. - LKTraz - 10-26-2014 The pitting on the sword gives it a nice unsophisticated raw barbarian "it's a tool....shut the fuck up" look. If you can remove the oxidation from them or at least halt further corrosion it makes for an awesome appearance! Put 2 good edges on it and VIOLA......."Barbarian Chic" worthy of Attilla The Hun! |
