Thats very true gunnen, although we are very evolved as a species and developed socially accepted "practices" we forget there is alot of biological and instinctual things that our body was programmed for and we have to have the self control to not give in.
Those instinctual things also evolve to our society, I remember watching on discovery how you can get a guys picture get two groups of females and his level of attraction will be higher to the females that see his face next to the higher income.
Some other stuff was that they found that people that go through big trauma's together say like a natural disaster or plane crash will find each other more attractive.
Another weird one was they found men's testosterone levels drop about a year before marriage or after their child is born, and they believe that leads to that level of no longer having a need for instinctual competition for females between guys and basically settling down and having a monogamous relationship.
I think our media that's so sexually driven in certain aspects and people that seem to lead very stressed out lives aswell has messed that up though and leads to people cheating and what not in my opinion.

The age of sexual freedom/accepted single motherhood/gov't as a provider has certainly reduced us to operating more like primitive savages or basic biological functions more than anything.
I don't expect how people to behave to improve any in the coming decades if statistics mean anything.

Like it or not......if there is no evidence of sexual contact before she turned 18 then neither of them has broken any laws.
Regardless, since she is now of age, if she chooses to be with this guy there is nothing that her mother can do about it excepting disapproval or going as far as disowning the girl.
It it right? NO! Is it unlawful. No.
Do keep in mind that only a scant 120 or so years ago if a girl wasn't married by 18 she was an "old maid". Yes, societal norms change with time but, as is pointed out by Gunnen and Anthony, we do retain biological programming with respect to mating and relationships.
"Civilized behavior" is simply the extent of which at any given time we as a collective people choose how much natural behavior is to be ignored or not tolerated.

He taught music in Jr High but he must have done something to get him transferred to a high school. Back then, the teachers never got fired for shit like that, they just got shuffled around.

I don't know about women instinctively trading up for better things. I've seen some women give up what was a perfectly good guy with a seriously stable income, etc... for some trailer trash loser.
Care to explain that to me? Was it animal magnetism that overrode the natural need to find a guy who could support them in different ways?
