Uh....does he put you out and you wake up with goop in your hair and on your shirt or are you awake? Headpoke

RE: Early morning useless post thread - Twitchin Kitten - 08-09-2010

It's a she. The goop was stuff to take impressions with. Fucking rubber gunk that did not come out of my hair for days. My shirt is also ruined.

4 days and counting.

Man....I NEED this time off.

Oh well, it's off to Boyertown and Elizabeth......again......go figure.

RE: Early morning useless post thread - twisteroo - 08-10-2010

I'm counting the days with you LK.

When will I ever learn to not eat too much too late? Geeze, up half the night, feeling like crap, fucked up dreams, why don't I ever learn?

Where do those damn strange hairs come from anyway? I mean I check my ears all the time so I can pluck those old man hairs before it looks like I have a woodchuck living in my ears. I can look and pluck one day and 24 hours later there is like a 3 inch hair hanging out of my ear.
IDEA: Transplant ear hair onto the head for balding men!!!

Day off today, then I start that 10 day count down for my Vacation.

RE: Early morning useless post thread - twisteroo - 08-10-2010

Oh crap, I was just thinking...I have to mow the lawn today, I hate mowing, I have not mowed the grass in years.

My driveway guys finally showed up, they got the old stuff dug out and the base put in, they said they will finish up later this week.

I'm still looking for vacation ideas, if all else fails I'm thinking about doing this trip Pine Creek again, maybe take an extra day and do some exploring or something.

I have to try to find some info today about a charity ride a couple of us are thinking about doing, and I'm actually thinking about buying a GPS for the car.Crazy I've had a handheld GPS for years for hunting, 4 wheeling and such, and rarely ever use it.
I should also finish the last boring day or two of my bike trip thread before I forget what I did.
I should also work an a longwinded e-mail or two.

You need a thread for yourself called "I Should..."

We still have no lawn mower. At the rate it's going to cost to fix it we should just go get a new one. The stupid thing only cost us $220 new and we got ripped off for $180 on the repair that only lasted 4 mowings.

RE: Early morning useless post thread - twisteroo - 08-11-2010

Back to that place today, 10 to go.Tantrum

Shock

Twitch, go get a new mower!

Look at this one <<<<<<<< clicky

Or this one <<<<<<<< clicky

I've had a Craftsman mower for 14 years now and it is the same thing as these 2 above. (Basically that is)

It's reliable as all get out and virtually maintainence free! If mine died tomorrow it owes me no money at all and I'd have no problem replacing it with one of the ones I linked. My tractor has cost me less than $300.00 in maintainence over the last 14 years and I got it the same time I got the walk behind mower.

Give up on the money pit one you now have and go to Sears.

And now we return you to the usual morning useless portion of my post.

3 days to go! Yeah...this is a bit late for me to be still home. Late start today but I really appreciate the extra sleep. It's off to Elizabeth and back we go!

RE: Early morning useless post thread - Twitchin Kitten - 08-11-2010

Ours is a Toro. It should have been fixed properly the first time but hey, we're in Jersey and they all seem to be morons here. Top it off, Matt plays with the damn screws thinking he knows what he's doing. I'm going to send him to a couple of those vo-tech classes over the winter to learn the basics of mower repair. He KNOWS and ADMITS he has no clue what he's doing but he refuses to let a machine kick his ass. He always loses.

Those two are nice. He won't go for them. Mary needs the one with the front wheel drive. You know how hard it is to push a a mower around small, flat yard. Rolleyes

RE: Early morning useless post thread - twisteroo - 08-11-2010

Just search small engine repair on youtube, let him work on it, then go to sears and buy a new one.
You will at least have saved the money on those classes.
I have a whole barn full of crap I've never been able to fix, snowblower, lawn mower, weed whacker, etc, etc....
