As you know this site needs a shot in the arm and I'm about to give it just that.
As soon as I finish the project I'm working on, I'm going to be shutting down for a couple of days and taking this site back to it's original purpose - Very OPEN and ADULT conversation.
Picks, this has nothing to do with Robin - believe me.
It has everything to do with lack of activity.
I'm going to be switching software without waiting for that converter I have been waiting on. I was going to use that and KEEP everything as it is but I decided not to.
This means we all are going to have to register anew - anyone (members) not willing to come back, well I'm sorry to see them go, but since they aren't here anyway, I can't be too upset.
The people besides the mods that visit I am sure will return. You know, our loyal TK fans.
The software I'm using now is so full of bugs it's not worth keeping, so instead of waiting, I'm wiping everything out - and i mean EVERYTHING and starting fresh.
I want to make the site more 'male friendly' as well and I'm going to be adding a private section for 'racy' images and stuff. Both men and women can post nudity in there. If members don't like it, they won't see it - I can make it password protected.
I want to get a membership drive going too - I think I can make a siggy bar for everyone to insert into their email. This will help generate members! Just don't put the thing in family letters where you don't want them to see where you hang out! We'll discuss this - I want suggestions from you all on how we can do this besides what I already can do as an admin on the 'net.
So, new look, new software and new topics and categories are coming.
Please comment on suggestions that you all might have.
Who wants to stay on as moderator, supermod, etc? We will deal with that once the new site is open because there will be new areas and you might be interested in only one or two to mod instead of being a supermod and watch the whole board.
Also, the new software will render the user groups automatically and without bugs. Members who have made it to Senior Member will no longer be mysteriously bumped down to junior ever again. New members will progress to the next level automatically as it should and not have to have any mods or admins watch for glitches and move them manually.
The site will have the ability to embed tons of video and able to do more with creative posting too. Ignore features are in there that actually work - without bugs so if anyone ever runs into a member they do not like, ignore them and you'll never know they're there.
The only thing I don't like is that the reply aera is not as user friendly as this one. It's more traditional but the FAQ section I'm making will have all the posting details and instructions.

Your plan sounds good, if you make a Sig bar I'll add it to my sigs on other forums, assuming they allow me to.
I want to keep my super mod powers.
Maybe add a Video game, and anime section for the nerds?

No it's not to trade porn. You can post images and video hosted from other sites and what not just like you can any other image and video this site allows now.
The forum will be private and most likely by password only to protect your privacy.
We had a games section once, no one but me and you participated. I'll put it in and see how it goes - considering that we're going to try to gain more members.
Remember, this is adults only still. I don't want high school kids in here either. I'll be able to peg them out right away too.... they try too hard to be slick, cool, whatever.
