Rules for Photo assigments

1)  Only 1 Entry per person

2) The  image must be your own. Copying images from the internet is an infringement of the rules and if anyone's image is found to be fake it will be removed from the assigment.

3)  Pictures can be no bigger than 500 x 500 pixels. You can use photoshop or Infranview to resize any photos you have.
you can also use photobucket to resize your pictures 75% of the original image should be ok.
This ensures the image will fit inside the screen and easily viewed within the topic. This means that images need to be visible and not as an outside attachment making you view the image on a separate page.
The idea is to keep uniformity and viewing ability simple for people when it is time to vote. All pictures need to be visible right away without scrolling from side to side.

If your image shows up as a link then your image is too big. The forum automatically will create the image as a link now if it is bigger than 600 pixels wide.

4)  Each assigment will run weekly (Twice weekly depending on subject) Starting Saturday midnight EDT or EST (eastern daylight time / eastern standard time) USA.
 allowing everyone to get their entries in and voting starts Saturday midnight the following week until friday midnight

5)  Winners will be announced on saturday in the forum  with 2nd and 3rd best entries also getting a mention. Winners will be featured on a new page on the main site with a little 'story' behind the shot you took/entered.

In the event of a tie 2 winners will be chosen and their pictures will both feature on the home page

6)  Images can be taken using any camera or scanned from exsisting photos

7)  You can use a image hosting site to host your images PhotoBucket is a good one to use

8) Once you vote for your favourite picture your vote is final you can't change it
