Has anyone watched this series on Showtime?
We had a free weekend of Showtime during the spring and saw the first two episodes. So this weekend we rented the whole first season. I am not sure if there will be a second season by how it ended but I must say it was AWESOME!
It's based on some novels of the same title.
The story is about a police forensics expert who is a serial killer. He was rescued from a crime scene where both his parents were murdered and raised by a cop.
He was taught how to 'survive' as himself.... a killer and not get caught. His father instilled a code of 'ethics' and to kill only those who deserve it.
So Dexter basically 'takes out the trash'.
It's gruesome, creepy and occasionally funny.

They are the same episodes that were on the Showtime. I would imagine they are cut to bits too.
Rent them like we do. This way you don't have to wait a week for the next episode!

| The show's finale is on tomorrow night from 9-11 EST. David says they tried to watch it but they had already rented a season and said that it was edited so badly that they couldn't. But, I'm happy! I will miss it if they won't have anymore reruns on CBS or anywhere else. (I'm fairly well convinced that we won't see anymore of it on regular tv unless we have another strike of some sort.) I have to watch my extra pennies around here, watching what I choose to spend anything extra on (like eating out with my friends. Much more fun!)

Well we just finished watching season two of Dexter and cannot wait for season three!
This was more demented and twisted than the last season!
